Dieses Stück für Flöte solo habe ich anhand von etlichen Improvisationen in verschiedensten Stilen geschrieben.
Worldtour lädt zu einer Weltreise durch verschiedenste Kontinente und Kulturen ein.
Jeder Erdteil, jede Kultur verfügt über ganz spezifische Musik und spezielle Instrumente. Sicher ist die Flöte, mit ihren unzähligen Formen und Klängen, eines der meistverbreiteten überhaupt. Genau diese Vielfalt bringt dieses Stück hervor.
Wir starten unsere Reise in der Wüste, begegnen Einheimischen in Afrika, um uns dann nach China abzusetzen.
Der grosse Sprung nach Nord – & Südamerika bedeutet auch musikalisch eine grosse Veränderung.
Der Schlussteil spielt in Japan, mit seinen Sakuatchi inspirierten Klängen.

I have written this piece for flute solo on the basis of several improvisations in various styles. Worldtour invites you on a world tour through various continents and cultures.
Every continent, every culture has very specific music and special instruments. Surely the flute, with its innumerable forms and sounds, is one of the most widespread of all. Exactly this diversity brings out this piece. We start our journey in the desert, meet locals in Africa, and then drop off to China. The big leap to North & South America also means a great change musically.
The final part is set in Japan, with its sakuatchi inspired sounds.
